Bedside lamps: the bottom of the shade should be at about chin height when you sit in bed — usually a lamp 55–70 cm tall on a standard nightstand. Living room: on a side table next to the sofa, the shade should sit at eye level when seated, so the bulb is not visible. Desk and office: choose an adjustable arm or a shade that directs light down onto the work surface.
Brass and gold lamps bring warmth to classic and modern rooms. Glass lamps — clear, smoked or opal — glow softly and look light; see also hand-blown glass lighting. Sculptural lamps in ceramic, stone or metal act as a piece of art on a console or sideboard. Mid-century mushroom and globe shapes suit retro interiors; see mid-century lighting.
Two matching lamps on a sideboard, on both sides of a bed or a sofa create calm symmetry. For a hotel or a large apartment, choose table lamps in the same finish as the wall lights and chandelier.
Every lamp is made in our own factory in 20 working days and checked before shipping. Many models can be made in another size, finish or shade colour. We confirm the voltage and plug type for your country before production.
Designers and contractors get a 30% trade discount — see lighting for restaurants and hotels.
The lamp should be roughly as tall as the nightstand, and the shade no wider than the top of the nightstand.
Warm white LED bulbs of 2700 K for bedrooms and living rooms; 3000–4000 K for a desk where you work.
Tell us your country when you order, and we will confirm the plug and voltage before production.
