In a villa, the entrance hall and the main living room often rise 6–8 metres. A normal chandelier disappears in such a space. You need a fixture that is large enough to hold the room together, hangs at the right height and can be seen from both floors.
For a staircase, a long cascade or multi-tier chandelier works best: it fills the vertical space and lights both levels. Measure the drop from the ceiling to the first-floor landing, and choose a fixture that ends 1–1.5 m above the lowest point people will walk under.

Heavy chandeliers need a strong ceiling anchor and, in tall halls, a lift or scaffolding. We recommend a qualified electrician; ask us for the weight and assembly instructions of your model.
